What is the Pull Start Picnic?
The Pull Start Picnic is an event that celebrates the best minibikes across eight categories, including Vintage, Drag, Rat, Micro, Off-Road, Cruiser, Trike, and Wild. Guest Judges and Fans get to vote for their favorite minibike in each category, and the goal is to showcase some of the most unique builds from across the country. The event also aims to create a strong sense of community within the minibike world.
Where is the Pull Start Picnic?
The Pull Start Picnic Minibike Show is all set to take place at the Rockwood Go-Karts & Minigolf, situated in a prime location between the bustling Fort Worth Stockyards and Downtown. The venue boasts a rich history of providing high-speed go-kart racing to the DFW area for over six decades and is ideally located just a stone's throw away from the Trinity River. This family-friendly location offers a plethora of amenities, all within easy reach, making it an ideal spot to spend your minibike day out with loved ones.
What are the Minibike Classes?

Everything must be vintage and as close to original as possible.

Custom Minibike with a deliberately worn-down, unfinished appearance, typically lacking paint, showing rust and made from cheap or cast-off parts.

Show us what speed looks like in a drag-style minibike.

Suspension, torque, meaty tires...how do you like to attack your terrain?

Good things come in small packages, show us your micro minibikes. Minibikes with a wheelbase of 31.75” and under. The Lil’ Rascal Minibike has a 31.75”.

Could also be an 'Open' Class. Blow our minds and show us your masterpiece.

These minibikes cruise the streets in style. You will typically see features like hardtail, street tires, and paint jobs so clean that you would hate to see scratched up by any rough riding.

7:00am-9:00am: Registration & Staging
9:00am-1:00pm: Pull Start Picnic Minibike Show
1:00pm-2:00pm: Awards Ceremony

* No riding minibikes on the Concrete Floor during the Show. We want to keep the show goers and show bikes safe.
* No canopies, tents, or chairs on the concrete. We will have extra awnings set up on the side of the show for shade and hanging out.
* Do not move staged minibikes.
* Sitting on minibikes without permission is prohibited. This is to keep the show bikes safe.
* Start up engines only during specified times.
